What apparel can Vandiver Tailors make?

Our firm tailors suits, sport jackets, trousers, dress and casual shirts, vests, formal wear, such as tuxedos and tailcoats, winter coats, casual cotton blazers, polos, and wind-breakers.

What are your quality standards?

The quality of our suits is unparalleled, and we have searched for years to perfect workmanship and craftsmanship. All of our suits are half canvas (with a full-canvas option at an additional cost), and can be fully customized. We have a wide array of fabrics/materials available for customization. Our tailors have decades of experience, and we are proud of their commitment to excellence.

Do you offer ladies' apparel?

We offer apparel for all people, regardless of gender. It is our hope to create a customized look that will help you feel like your best self!

Can I just walk into the shop anytime, or do I need to schedule an appointment?

We currently operate out of a store on Capitol HIll. Mr. Vandiver works by appointment only. This ensures that each client gets the attention and time that they deserve.  You may schedule an appointment  by sending an email to kevin@surefitsuits.com.

What Is Your Price Range?

Our prices range from $1750-$5000+ for suits and $250-$550 for shirts.  We have a “half now,” “half-later” system:  At the time of the consultation (or later, if the client doesn’t want to order right away), a 50% deposit is required.  The balance is due at delivery or before shipment.

*Suit and shirt price ranges vary with fabric types/selection/weight/brand, etc., but all have the same quality of workmanship.

What Is Your Turnaround Time?

Our garments usually arrive in 6-8 weeks, but for a fee, we can rush garments.

Do you serve wedding parties?

Yes! We frequently service wedding parties. If we make at least 5 suits for the wedding party, the suit of the person getting married is free.

How Do You Ensure a Perfect Fit?

Measurements are the foundation of any tailor-made garment.  When your garment arrives, it is pressed and prepped for you to try it on for an initial fitting.  We adjust any minor tweaks you want to make and get it back to you ASAP.

What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

We accept cash, checks, money orders, all major credit cards. We also use PayPal, CashApp, Zelle, and Square.
